I Did!

Wow, a month or more since the last news. It's not that there hasn't been any, just that I've been far too busy to write anything down! Plus, it's World Cup Time, and I'm kinda busy supporting a plethora of teams. Two of whom have been knocked out in the the round of 16.

Anyway, back to Bas.

Today was HUGE! This evening after a large meal of home made risotto (appropriate I think considering Australia lost to Italy last night), I asked the wee man if he'd had a good dinner. After some though and a pause, he said

"I did"

His very first, most coherent words ever!

He followed this up a little while later while playing with the oven door by getting his fingers jammed in it. A small cut on his pointer and pinky, a bit of shock and surprise then giggles when we were trying to put a frozen bag of corn on it to stop any swelling.

He's all cheerful at the moment sort of nearing tired manic stage from it all, and shall shortly be placed in the shower with me, PJ'd and sent to bed (most likely with extreme protest).
